Description
1960 Ford 300E customised modified van
This van has a massive history and has been featured in magazines since the 1970’s.
It has been well built to a high spec over the years in different identities and paint schemes. Has lots of old MOT Certificates, photographs, description on how it was built in photos and text and a copy of Custom Car Mag from the 70s with the van featured in it.
Has 11 months MOT and is tax exempt
It is fitted with Mk1 classic Capri front struts, Fiat steering rack, 2l pinto with mild cam and twin choke carburettor, quick shift 4 speed gearbox, Ford Anglia back axle, Caged, Wolfrace all round.
Has a rare 3 bar grill, sun visor, pop door and no door handle.
Drives well, gearbox takes a little while to get used to but once you get to know it its ok
Currently themed on the Rolling Stones Hit ‘Sympathy for the Devil’
See photos – writing on side and items in back are all removable if not to your taste
This van gets so much attention when taken to shows or wherever it goes
A few items needs fettling – Fuel gauge works the wrong way round, temp gauge needs a new switch, window wipers have stopped working, possible fuse
Great Van Ready for shows-We have taken it to a couple of shows this year and it is good fun.
Very reliable and quite economical if driven sensibly
