A lovely Victorian walnut dressing table. We date this table to the late 19th century.
The table sits on four turned legs on ceramic castors.
The main table is fitted with four drawers. The drawers are fitted with attractive brass drop handles on shapely backplates.
The dressing table features an attractive gallery to the rear, which showcases a larger mirror flanked by small glove drawers. The dressing table has a shapely mirror, the glass is thick and bevelled. The mirror tilts and sits in an attractive carved frame with decorative carved top. The mirror supports are of a shapely carved design.
The dressing table has a height of 73\" (186cm), a main higher surface height of 31\" (79cm), a width of 42\" (107cm) and a depth of 21.5\" (55cm).
This lovely Victorian dressing table remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few marks, indentations and wear to the table top finishes from past use.
This remains a very stylish and elegant antique Victorian dressing table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
