The opening of the hopper is made by simple pressure when the poultry step on the metal treadle plate. It is not easy accessible for mice, rats, crows etc, as they are too light to activate the treadle mechanism. Treadle plate is drilled to allow water egress and allow birds to grip. Galvanized iron thickness 1mm. Assembly by rivets to avoid corrosion. Perfect for outside use for any poultry/waterfowl etc.
Equipped with a silent system of opening and closing as not to scare birds when feeding.
