Description

Would you like to help make a difference to the lives of young people severely affected by autism? Join our dedicated team of Support Workers for a rewarding career at Prior's Court.

Salary: £16,730 - £20,769 per annum depending on qualifications
Hours: 36 hours per week a rota based on a rolling pattern of early and late shifts throughout 52 weeks of the year including weekdays, weekends and public holidays

Location: Prior's Court School, Hermitage, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG18 9NU, UK

Could you make a difference?
You will be joining a dynamic team within one of our residential houses, each of which is home to between 4 and 7 young people with autism from the ages of 5 - 25. You will support the young people in building their independence, communication, social skills and leisure and vocational opportunities to enable them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives. Whether you already work in care or are looking for a career change, our thorough support worker training and induction programme will ensure you have the support, skills and tools you need to deliver quality care for each young person. We will even support you to complete your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if you are not yet qualified.
