Unit Manager
We are currently recruiting for a FullTime Unit Manager to join our experienced team at Lynn of Lorne Care Home.
The Unit Manager is a key part of the Management Team, and will work under the leadership of the Deputy Manager. The Unit Manager will also ensure that the residents receive excellent care and support, in such a way that each individual is able to articulate his or her preferences and achieve personal goals, whilst maintaining the highest standards of personal care
The Unit Manager will be expected to take responsibility for support and supervision of certain members of staff, specific management functions, and contribute to the overall management of the home.
The Unit Manager will be expected to work on their own initiative, and to deputise for the Manager during periods of absence.
Applicants will have experience and a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment. Applicants will have first or second level nurse, on appropriate part of NMC Register (holds current PIN number), Leadership Management in Care Award (formerly Registered Managers Award), or be willing to work towards this.
Applicants should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and be comfortable working in a Team. Satisfactory Police Check and PVG check applies to this role.
