Ivory wedding dress purchased from Cardiff Bridal Centre. £1,200 brand new with alterations. Included in this advertisement are photographs from the wedding day itself, whilst I was wearing the dress, and photographs of the dress as it is today, in order to show more detail.

The dress has a flattering square neckline, wide shoulder straps, and a small train which can be buttoned under the skirt post-ceremony, for ease of movement. It fastens at the back with a zip / hook-and-eye fastening.

The dress is ivory satin, with lace applique. The sheer lace overlay is detachable, almost in the style of a long waistcoat, and fastens under the bust with a single clear button. The dress can be worn as shown, with the overlay and a lot of lace embellishments and applique, or it can be worn without. A few applique lace embellishments are sewn to the dress itself, but the look without the overlay is entirely more simple.

The lace is lightly beaded and includes pearlescent sequins, more to catch the light than to be a feature in themselves. The dress has a light under-layer to add a bit of volume to the skirt when wearing it, but without too much of a "meringue" look.

Fitted for a 5'5" bride with a small kitten heel. The dress has been professionally cleaned and boxed post-wedding, and the box will be included for you to store the dress after your big day. The dress will require hanging and steaming before use to remove creasing. I found that a bra was not necessary underneath the dress, and it was comfortable enough to wear from midday until 4am without any problem.
