This is a framed original measuring 69.5cm x 57cm (27.5" x 22.5"). It depicts the working Tide Mill at Woodbridge beside the river Deben.
Woodbridge Tide Mill in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England is a rare example of a tide mill whose water wheel still turns and is capable of grinding a wholemeal flour.
The mill is a Grade I listed building. It is a three-storey building constructed from wood; externally it is clad in white Suffolk boarding and has a Gambrel roof. Its machinery reflects the skills and achievements of the early Industrial Revolution. It has been preserved and is open to the public.

Margaret Glass is recognized as one of the leading Pastellists of today. She is a past Vice-President of La Société des Pastellistes de Françe and a member of the English Pastel Society.
In 1992 she was awarded the title 'Maitre Pastellist' by La Société des Pastellistes de Françe, only the eleventh artist to receive this distinction. In recent years she has also built up a growing reputation as a talented oil painter. able to capture the light with the same facility as in her pastels. With her unrivalled use of pastels and skilful application of oil paint, Suffolk-based Margaret Glass is known particularly for her stunning depictions of boats, barges and waterside scenes.
This lends itself to a collection in person from Weymouth to avoid any dramas in transportation. However, should a courier service be required I will listen to ideas.
