Live In Housekeeper required for National Trust property in Faringdon, Oxon
Start Date:27/8/16
Hours: 8am-5pm 5 days a week (work alternate weekends)
Salary: £22,000 pa
Live In Accommodation:Self contained large 2 bed flat (On the first floor of the stable block),.Reasonable utility bills paid -Food not supplied.Will consider well behaved pet (dog or cat) & husband or partner (with own employment)
Duties:Full housekeeping - deep cleaning,laundry,ironing, family cooking, help out in the tea rooms or stewarding in the rooms.Prepare the house for visitors. Help with entertaining. Feed and walk the dogs, dog sitting. (2 dogs a Terrier & a Whippet) Key holder on a rota basis and operate alarm
You should:
Have excellent communication skills
Be a team player (report to Head Housekeeper)
Be a driver with own car
Happy to work alternate weekends
Have previous housekeeping experience with checkable references
Silver & Antique care (or willing to learn)
Enjoy living in the countryside
Have a smart appearance
Be able to cook to a good standard
Hold a current DBS or be willing to undertake o
Be dog friendly (family have 2 dogs a Terrier & a Whippet)
Be security conscious
Non smoking work environment
