Genuine schoolmaster\'s desk.
My husband\'s great uncle was a Glasgow school teacher. Not sure from which school this came from. It bears the marks of generations of schoolchildren.
Fantastic piece from a bygone age.
The metal (brass?) inkwell lids read "The Bennet Furnishing Co Glasgow & London"
