Marie Curie have an active fundraising group in Swansea who organise various events throughout the year for us raising thousands of pounds for our local nursing service. They are a welcoming group who hold occasional planning meetings. They arrange bucket collections, their own Blooming Great Tea Party and various other events on an annual basis. The group is currently looking for a new chairperson. Is this something you may be interested in?
What we need you to do:
• Help the Fundraising Group plan and organise a calendar of fundraising events
• Lead the group on all activities
• Encourage support for Marie Curie
• Recruit and welcome new members to the group when required
• Chair group meetings ensuring all points of view are considered.
